The Library Archives features rotating examples that are made up of nearly 8 cubic feet of historical materials relevant to the City of Pickerington, Violet Township, and Fairfield County.

Mrs. Marie Alexander Buck Sharpe lived many years in the house located at the corner (NW) of Columbus and East Streets. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gus M. Alexander (Rebecca Seifert). Her sister, Dorothy (Dot) was Pickerington’s first librarian. Mrs. Sharpe died in August 1972 and is buried in Violet Cemetery. Her Scrapbook was presented to Pickerington Public Library by stepsons James W. Sharpe of Royersford, PA and Leslie P. Sharpe of Cleveland, OH.
