The Teen Advisory Board is a group of teens from the local community that provides teen input on teen library services. TAB will be involved in planning teen programs and library events, teen library displays, and providing suggestions for the teen collection.

Past TAB activities have included helping out with our annual Teen Book Fest, planning a pet goods drive for the Fairfield County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center, volunteering in the Homework Help Center, and marching with the library in local parades. TAB is a great way for teens to earn community service hours and gain leadership experience!

Requirements:

  • Are in grades 7-12
  • Can attend at least 12 or more TAB meetings, library programs, or library events within 1 year of TAB Service.
  • Willing to be a part of an integral group at the library
