Discovery Pavilion is Officially Open!

Historic milestone for Pickerington Public Library. The Discovery Pavilion—a new outdoor community space for learning and connection—is officially open! The ribbon-cutting and Bunny Party on April 1 brought the community together in the best way—full of energy, excitement, and plenty of smiles. Despite rain in the forecast, the sun showed up right on time—making it a perfect day to gather, celebrate, and explore this new outdoor space. Check out these great pictures of the fun!

Spring Raffle hosted by the Library Board of Trustees

The Pickerington Public Library Board of Trustees is hosting a spring raffle for a beautiful suede and leather COACH Brooklyn Shoulder Bag 39 ($495 value). All proceeds support library programs, services, and resources. Win for yourself or someone special. The winner will be drawn on May 6 by random drawing — just in time for Mother’s Day! TICKETS: 1 for $25 | 5 for $100 (This fundraiser is for the Pickerington Public Library Fund, managed by the Fairfield County Foundation. The Library staff does not sell raffle tickets.)

Comic Fest 2026: Saturday, May 30

10th Annual Comic Fest is coming to Pickerington Main Library on Saturday, May 30, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Celebrate the beginning of Summer Reading with all things comic at Comic Fest! Fun for all ages, with crafts, activities, artists, and superhero-themed activities. Visit our vendors and artists and grab a bite to eat from local food trucks. Come dressed as your favorite character; this is the perfect time to break out the cape! We are excited to be welcoming new and returning vendors and artists.

Seed Library Opening April 1

A Seed Library is a free community resource where customers can “check out” seeds to plant at home—just like borrowing a book. The Seed Library opens April 1. Have seeds to share? Seed donations are accepted at all library locations. Donated seeds will be sorted, organized, and prepared for circulation by library staff.
