What a day to celebrate a major milestone for Pickerington Public Library. The Discovery Pavilion—a new outdoor community space for learning and connection—is officially open!

Hop into the Grand Opening Celebration!
Join us on April 1 at Pickerington Main Library for the Grand Opening & Ribbon-Cutting of our new outdoor space, Discovery Pavilion. The Bunny Party is the official Grand Opening program, marking the debut of the Library’s new outdoor community space.
It all begins at 12:30 p.m. with the official ribbon-cutting, and the Bunny Party kicks off at 1:00 p.m.
We’ll cut the ribbon and officially open the Pavilion, then keep the energy going with bunny-themed games, crafts, stories, a scavenger hunt, photos with Violet, and a live bunny visiting from Bring the Farm to You. The Bunny Party fun will take place inside and outside as we put the Pavilion into action on day one.
Be part of this historic opening and help launch a new community space for learning and connection.

Construction is moving right along at Pickerington Main Library! Concrete for the new Outdoor Pavilion is being poured today, and we’re one big step closer to creating a welcoming community space for programs, gatherings, and year-round use. Big News, Pickerington!

Starting Wednesday, Sept. 10, we’re breaking ground on a brand-new Outdoor Pavilion Space at Pickerington Main Library—an exciting addition that will expand our programming capacity and create new opportunities for the community!
This new outdoor space means more room for everyone to enjoy library events, and it opens the door to more outdoor literacy classes, crafts, celebrations, concerts, and so much more. The Pavilion will offer a fresh-air environment that encourages learning, creativity, and connection. Most of all, the pavilion will serve as a welcoming hub where people of all ages can gather, grow, and learn!
