This page will feature rotating examples from the Pickerington Public Library Archives.  The Archives is made up of nearly 8 cubic feet of historical materials relevant to Pickerington, Ohio; Violet Township, Ohio; and Fairfield County.

Description:  “Scrap book of Mrs. Marie Alexander Buck Sharpe who died in August 1972 and is buried in Violet Cemetery.  Mrs. Sharpe was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gus M. Alexander (Rebecca Seifert) and lived for many years in the house located at the corner (NW) of Columbus and East Streets.  Her sister Dorothy (Dot) was Pickerington’s first librarian.  This book was presented to the Pickerington Public Library by stepsons James W Sharpe of Royersford, Pa. and Leslie P. Sharpe of Cleveland, Ohio.”
