The is a free adult program that requires registration (see below), to be held in Room A/B.  Join us for a celebration of notable Ohioan Emma Rowena Gatewood, also known as Grandma Gatewood, the first woman to hike the entire Appalachian Trail.  She completed her first AT trek in 1955, at the age of 67.

Trail Magic: the Grandma Gatewood Story — an exclusive screening of a forthcoming PBS documentary (approximate running time is 55 minutes).

“Trail Magic: The Grandma Gatewood Story” was made possible, in part, by a grant from the Ohio Historical Society’s History Fund. The History Fund is supported exclusively by voluntary donations of Ohio income tax refunds and designated gifts to the Ohio Historical Society.”
