This spring is a treat for book lovers and aspiring authors: the Pickerington Public Library will be hosting eight authors in April and May as part of a Spring Author Series. The line-up kicks off with an appearance by USA Today and New York Times-bestselling author Karen Harper!
Saturday, April 21, 3 p.m.: Bestselling author Karen Harper discusses The It Girls, her newest work of historical fiction, at Pickerington Main.
Thursday, April 26, 7 p.m.: Local author Sieglinde Martin discusses her book Small Feet on the Run, the true story of eighteen children living in Germany and other areas of Europe during World War II, six of whom later emigrated to Columbus. Held at Pickerington Main.
Thursday, May 10, 7 p.m.: Two Columbus authors of crime fiction team up for an event at Pickerington Main: meet Andrew Welsh-Huggins, author of the Andy Hayes mysteries (The Third Brother), and Kristen Lepionka, author of the Roxane Weary series (The Last Place You Look; What You Want to See).
Saturday, May 19, 3 p.m.: Get to know the “cozy” side of mysteries: Ohio authors Amanda Flower (Lethal Licorice), Alex Erickson (Death By Eggnog), and Heather Blake (Gone with the Witch) visit Pickerington Main.
Thursday, May 24, 7 p.m.: Acclaimed author Robin Yocum, a former Columbus Dispatch crime and investigative reporter, talks about his latest novel, A Perfect Shot, at Sycamore Plaza.
