The Friends of Pickerington Public Library’s semi-annual book sale at Pickerington Library on Opportunity Way begins Wednesday, April 1 (5:00 – 8:00 p.m.) with a special pre-sale for Friends members (memberships will be available for purchase at the door). The sale is open to the public Thursday, April 2 through Bag Sale Day on Sunday, April 5.
The sale features a variety of books, DVDs, video and board games, puzzles, graphic novels and audiobooks. Come early for the best selection! Most items at the sale (approximately 8,000) have not previously been available.
Sale proceeds support many Pickerington Public Library initiatives such as the Homework Help Center, Santa Saturday, Summer Reading activities and events, author visits, and classes for children, young adults and adults. The Friends also provide funding for purchases of computers, furniture and artwork. Most recently, the Friends purchased instruments for the Children’s Music Garden for all ages to enjoy!
