Celebrate Ohio Deaf History Month

Celebrate our hearing-impaired community, their families and interpreters during Ohio Deaf History Month. The State Library of Ohio has compiled a list of eBooks, videos and resources in multiple formats about Deaf Culture.

March 13 through April 15 is designated as Ohio Deaf History Month. Learn about Ohio Deaf History Month with an exhibit at the Ohio Statehouse. The display is in the Governor’s Hallway on the first floor. (North Hallway of the Ohio Statehouse,1 Capitol Square, Columbus, OH 43215) This exhibit is provided by the Ohio Deaf Friends of the Library.  Ohio Deaf History Month is in its fifth year.
