Friends of the Library

Friends of the Pickerington Public Library (FOPPL) was established in 1989 to support library programs, events, and projects.  FOPPL is made up of volunteers who raise money for the library through book sales, donations, and membership drives.

Membership is open to anyone who wishes to join and lend his or her support to the Pickerington Public Library.  FOPPL is always in need of members and those willing to volunteer at book sales and in other library-related activities. Click below for a copy of the FOPPL membership application:

Semi-Annual Book Sales:

The Friends of the Pickerington Public Library hosts two book sales every year, in the spring and fall, with an exclusive preview night for Friends’ members. Members of the public are welcome to join at the door to take part in the preview sale.

Ongoing Sales:

You can also purchase books and library merchandise year-round from the Friends of the Library at all locations of the Pickerington Public Library – materials on sale are updated regularly, so be sure to check back in for new items!

Donated Materials:

The library accepts book donations on behalf of the FOPPL and will make disposition of all donated materials in accordance with the library’s Collection Development Policy.  The library does not accept used text books, magazines, or encyclopedias.   Once donated items are evaluated, they will be turned over to the FOPPL.
