KultureCity Sensory Inclusive Certification

The Pickerington Public Library has partnered with KultureCity to improve our ability to assist and accommodate customers with sensory needs. Our objective is to provide an inclusive and seamless experience for all customers for all event, including those with sensory needs. We strive to raise awareness of the needs and challenges faced by individuals with sensory process disorders by supplying our staff with continuous training and by offering the resources and accommodations below to our customers. 

Sensory Bags

Sensory bags containing special KCVIP badges, fidget tools, noise canceling headphones, and other resources are available for in library use and are located at all customer service desk. 

Weighted Lap Bands

Weighted lap pads are also available upon request for in library use and are located at the youth services desk at Pickerington Main and the customer service desk at Sycamore Plaza.
