Make a wallet or purse from duct tape. Send a hand-made pop-up holiday card to someone special. Homemade soap – always a hit! Knit a scarf or make an ornament for family and friends…the possibilities are endless, and so are our recommendations! Find DIY books at your library and online through OverDrive, our e-book and digital audiobook lender, and through Hoopla, our streaming service!

NEW adjusted COVID safety protocols as of April 26: As part of the library’s mission and vision, the board, staff and leadership prioritizes accessibility for all, especially young families. For this reason, mask requirements for children visiting the library has changed from 2-years-old to 5-years-old and up. Masks will be required until library-wide mask restrictions are not part of state safety mandates.  When visiting, know that masks are required at all times for ages 5 and up. Masks are required in all library facilities as well as anywhere on the property, including any outdoor events and classes. Food and drinks are still not allowed in the library buildings at this time. Customers are also able to access tables, computers and business centers freely without online reservation. Hold requests have returned to self-serve at Pickerington Main; staff will continue to assist at Sycamore Plaza. With the changes in protocol, the library is accepting book donations once again. Review the library's full list of services or our list of COVID-related resources for more information.
