Library Wide Community Service Project

This fall, the Pickerington Public Library will be participating in a library wide community service project – and we need your help!  We will be making No-Sew Fleece Scarves to donate to the Dorothy Steiner Mitten Tree, through the City of Pickerington: it is a great opportunity for your family to give back to your community.

The classes will take place on two different dates.

If you can’t make it to one of the classes or would like make a scarf for someone you know, check out the blog the decorated cookie.  This post provides step-by-step instructions to make the scarves at home, and to stay in the crafting mood, try our latest crafting resource: Hobbies and Crafts Reference Center! It has everything from kids’ crafts to needle crafts, and all the little craft resources you need in between. All it takes is your library card number.

Plus, our selection of craft books is perfect for parents and kids to collaborate: check out our favorites, below!
