History
The Sycamore Plaza Library Branch, located in Violet Township opened to the public on September 2, 2017. This is the second location of the Pickerington Public Library and serves the northern halves of Violet Township and City of Pickerington.
Funding for the library’s branch was made possible thanks to a donation from the late Mary Blauser Meilwes, whose family once owned the land at 201 Opportunity Way, where the Pickerington Main Library is currently located.
The 4,200 square foot space provides a full range of services to the community, including a Homework Help Center, meeting room space, wireless printing, and notary services, in addition to its collection of books, DVDs, and more, for all ages.

24 Hour Pickup Lockers
Sycamore Plaza Library offers hold lockers to its patrons for after-hours pickup: when prompted to select a pickup location while requesting items in the catalog, select “Pickerington Sycamore Plaza 24 Hour Pickup Lockers.”

Sycamore Plaza Digital Classroom
The Sycamore Plaza Library Homework Help Center also functions as its meeting room. When not in use as the Homework Help Center, the meeting room can be reserved for use by members of the public.

Copy/Fax/Scan Services
Copying, faxing, and scanning are available at all locations. A library card is not required to use these public services.

Laptops
Laptops are available for customers to check out and use while visiting Sycamore Plaza Library.
- A Pickerington Public Library card is required in order to check out a laptop to the customer’s account.
- ID, or another form of collateral, is also required and will be held while a laptop is in use.

Notary Services

WiFi
Free WiFi is available throughout the Sycamore Plaza Library location. If your wireless device is not set to automatically connect you, you can access the Sycamore Plaza Library’s WiFi through the network connections on your laptop, or through the settings on your mobile device. Please see a staff member for assistance.
Wireless Printing
Library users can access the library’s free WiFi through the network connections on library or personal laptops, or through the settings on personal mobile devices. Wireless printing is also available at all locations.
