Borrowing Materials
With your Pickerington Public Library card, you have access to millions of items through the library’s collection, our membership in the Central Library Consortium, and through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
There is no charge to obtain a library card or to borrow materials from Pickerington Public Library, except in circumstances where items are lost or returned damaged, as indicated below. Customers are responsible for all materials checked out on their cards, including lost and damaged items. Please report a lost card to the library immediately.
To check out items, you must have your card, your card number and PIN, or photo ID available. You may return items to any member library in the Central Library Consortium.
For additional information on borrowing materials, please read the library’s Cardholder Policy in our Policies and Rules, and contact a staff member with any questions about your account.

Renewals:
Most Pickerington Public Library items will automatically renew six (6) times for the same length of time as the original check-out period, unless another customer has placed a hold on the item; or if the item is a Quick Pick or Mobile Hotspot.
Materials on loan from other Central Library Consortium (CLC) Libraries may automatically renew for different periods of time. Some CLC libraries do not offer automatic renewal; items from those libraries must be renewed manually, through the library website, by presenting them at the Customer Service desk at any location of the library, or by phone.
To renew materials by phone, please have your library card number and PIN ready and call the Customer Service Department at any location or the Automated Renewal line:

- If you have forgotten your PIN, but know your library card number, you can reset your PIN online by clicking here, and then by clicking on “Forgot Your PIN?” Your PIN will be sent to the email address on file. Staff members at both locations can also assist you in updating your PIN. Please have your library card or photo identification ready in order to reset your PIN.
